My name is Melanie Burnett, and I am 23 years old from Miami, Florida. I am majoring in the Accelerated Second-degree Bachelor of Nursing program at the Sarasota-Manatee campus and in my 4th semester. My future career aspirations are to become a nurse practitioner in emergency medicine. To obtain such a title, I would first like to finish this program I am in headstrong, and then secure a position at a local hospital to
gain experience in health care. I would then like to continue working as I go back to school to pursue my DNP. Thank you so much for the opportunity.
